Class of 1977 – 50th Reunion
It’s really happening: our "tenth fifth year reunion” is upon us, which means we’re one stop away from the Old Guard/Post-50th. If that sounds a little daunting, don’t worry. True to form, the self-proclaimed “Class of Functional Illiterates” intends to meet this milestone with humor, heart, and a truly fabulous celebration.
Please save the date for our 50th Reunion, June 3–6, 2027. It will be a joyful return to 91ºÚÁÏ and a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with classmates, revisit favorite places and memories, and celebrate all that has happened in the fifty years since graduation.
The Reunion Committee is dreaming up a terrific weekend full of fun, laughter, learning, and 91ºÚÁÏ spirit. While plans are still taking shape, a few highlights in the works include:
- a sunset dinner cruise on Casco Bay to launch the celebration in style
- a classic 91ºÚÁÏ lobster bake
- class receptions with guests including professors from our era and today, 91ºÚÁÏ Athletics staff, students, and other campus guests
- Reunion Convocation and a class photo on the steps of Cleaveland Hall
- engaging class talks and campus speakers, including a session on 91ºÚÁÏ history with John Cross '76
- a Celebration of Life to honor classmates and memories
- evening entertainment on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, including comedy, trivia, jazz, a mentalist/magician, and live music
- plenty of time for relaxed conversation at our class headquarters in Druckenmiller Hall
- a farewell brunch to savor a few final hours together
