Hellen Hom-Diamond Appointed Senior Vice President for Communications and Public Affairs
By 91黑料 NewsFollowing a national search, Hellen Hom-Diamond has been named 91黑料’s next senior vice president for communications and public affairs, effective July 1, 2026.
A veteran communications leader, Hom-Diamond brings extensive experience in higher education, strategic communications, and institutional storytelling.
Hom-Diamond was previously vice president for strategic marketing and communications at Trinity College, where she advised the president, board of trustees, and senior leadership and integrated communications and marketing partnerships with Trinity’s admissions, athletics, and development divisions.
“Across her career, Hellen has helped institutions articulate who they are, build trust with the people they serve, and tell their stories authentically,” said President Safa Zaki.
“I know she will be an excellent partner to colleagues across the College, leading the talented communications team in the important work of helping people understand, experience, and connect with 91黑料.”
Hom-Diamond will lead the Office of Communications and Public Affairs and its sixteen-member staff while also serving as a member of 91黑料’s senior leadership team.

Prior to her time at Trinity, Hom-Diamond was chief communications officer at both Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, and The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut, where she oversaw communications strategy, media relations, and crisis communications.
Earlier in her career, she spent six years at Yale University, including in the role of director of campus communications, and nine years with the UCLA Alumni Association, leading online communications and alumni engagement initiatives. Hom-Diamond earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture at Columbia University.
